Joseph A. LoCicero, President and CEO of The Segal Company, has announced that Stewart D. Lawrence, Senior Vice President, has become National Retirement Practice Leader. Mr. Lawrence will be working with the Company's retirement practice to provide thought leadership, innovative plan design ideas and new services.

Mr. Lawrence will also continue the Company's work in developing financial engineering tools, expanding asset/liability modeling capabilities, and working with colleagues to develop multi-service consulting solutions. In addition, he will continue to function as the lead consultant and relationship manager for major clients.

Since joining The Segal Company 1977, Mr. Lawrence has served in a variety of leadership roles. Most recently he was head of the Company's Corporate Market and a Member of the Company's Board of Directors.

Mr. Lawrence holds a BA in Mathematics from Queens College. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries and an Enrolled Actuary.
